Solvay (Bangpoo) Specialty Chemicals Ltd. is a 100% Solvay owned entity. Established in 1999, the company is located in Bangpoo Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Bangkok and currently employs 40 staff to operate its surfactants manufacturing unit with annual sales of about 545 Million Baht.
The company operates its production unit with Solvay’s surfactants technology to produce specialty surfactants for amphoterics, anionic and blending surfactants, and applies Solvay’s global standard operational management tools such as Health Safety & Environment management, Quality Management, World Class Manufacturing & Operational Excellent programs. The products are supplied to Thailand and Asian markets for personal and home care, oral care, industrial formulation, coatings, agrochemicals and oilfield.
The company currently holds certification for ISO 9001: 2008 version and Halal-certified and obtained European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredient ( EFfCI ) GMP for Personal care products .
