Southern Industrial Zone was established by Prime Minister in 2006 as one of the main IZs in Van Tien, Yen Bai City, Yen Bai Province, Vietnam to attract investors of various industries for province’s economic development: agricultural, forestry products, high-quality construction materials, steel, mineral processing, stone manufacture with the fill-up rate 62%.

Southern Industrial Zone is bordered to Noi Bai – Lao Cai national highway, border gate that is advantageous for roadway cargo transport in the north Vietnam and across borders.
